Born in 1978, Grégory "GregMMA" Bouchelaghem grew up with a passion for martial arts. He began with shotokan karate at the age of 17 in the Yvelines region of France, then became one of the first Frenchmen to take up Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (JJB ).This was his introduction to what was to become MMA , which he pioneered in France.

GregMMA quickly made a name for himself on the European scene. He will forever be remembered as the first Frenchman to defeat a victorious UFC fighter (Mark Weir on November 9, 2003).

It's not just in the cage that GregMMA excels, but also on social networks. His Instagram account and YouTube channel @karatebushido are followed by hundreds of thousands of fans. Using these platforms to share techniques, fight analysis or various tests, he has managed to establish an authentic connection with his audience. 

These qualities and knowledge also make him a great teacher and an exceptional karate instructor (state-certified).

At the age of 45, when most fighters are thinking about retirement, GregMMA has chosen to make a resounding return to the ring.
