Born in Astrakhan, near Dagestan, Russia, and having moved to Belgium at the age of 10, he began his sporting career with swimming before turning to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and grappling, then MMA at the age of 23.

Magomed Kadimagomedov's background

Magomed Kadimagomedov was born in Astrakhan, near the Dagestan.

Originally from Russia, he began his career in grappling and JJB. He has distinguished himself in several competitions, winning in particular several times the Belgian championship and the European championship.

His immersion in the world of MMA is recent and linked to a stroke of fate.

At the time of the confinement, he was a grappler and Brazilian jiujitsu practitioner who couldn't stand still, so he moved to Sweden to continue training. He took part in Khamzat Chimaev 's training and the idea grew from there.

He takes a risk and flies to Thailand for some fierce training. During this training, he has the opportunity to make his first MMA fight against Quitin Thomas, an experienced pro fighter and IMMAF champion.

He won his fight by TKO in the 2nd round.

His second fight will also be a mountain to climb, Michel Adalena a fighter with a lot of experience who arrives well above weight.

Magomed takes up the challenge.

The difference of around 5 kilos made the fight a real test, and the mental victory by TKO in round 2 was even better.

This was followed by a decision victory over Roman Paulus.

Magomed quickly climbed the ranks, aiming for both FABRIQ belts in 66 and 70 kg before why not join the UFC.

He trains under Jérémy at Team Terranova. His approach to fighting is strategic, preferring grappling, while enjoying boxing and kick-boxing.

He has travelled extensively around the world, notably to Thailand, Bosnia and France, to hone his skills and gain experience.
