Features of ÖKO L3 ultra-filtering straw

High-performance filtration
Removes up to 99.999% of bacteria, parasites and protozoa ≥ 0.1 micron in size without chemicals, ensuring safe drinking water.

Ideal for adventurers and travelers in high-risk areas
Designed for hikers, trekkers and travelers who explore remote environments or uncertain water resources.

High filtration capacity
Purifies up to 1,000 liters of water for greater autonomy in natural environments. Up to 3000 L if rinsed after each use.
How do I use the L3 filter kit with an ÖKO water bottle?
The ÖKO L3 filter is compatible with ÖKO 650 ml and 1 liter water bottles.
Simply insert the filter straw into the ÖKO bottle in place of the L2 filter, and drink directly.
It can be used WITHOUT the water bottle, simply dip the filter into the water and suck through the hose!
It's your emergency system in case you lose your ÖKO water bottle!
The integrated filter system purifies the water as it passes through, removing bacteria and other contaminants for instant drinking water.
A revolution in the world of hollow fiber
Discover a unique innovation: one of the first water bottles to feature a 0.1-micron hollow-fiber filter, activated by simple pressure!
Direct flow, instant filtration and optimal hygiene.
Each sip is purified, with no effort or waiting.
Simple operation for everyday use by several people.

ÖKO filter comparison: L3 vs L2

L3 filter: The extreme solution
Technology
Hollow fibers calibrated to 0.1 micron (1/10,000th of a millimeter).
Performance
What's filtered: Bacteria, E. coli, micro-organisms, parasites, protozoa, giardia lamblia, cryptosporidium, and other contaminants above 0.1 micron.
What passes: Particles smaller than 0.1 microns.
Key benefit
Robust, reliable filtration for highly contaminated or doubtful water.
Recommended for
Extreme situations (muddy rivers, highly polluted springs).
Travel to high-risk countries where drinking water is uncertain.
L2 filter: Everyday versatility
Technology
Hollow fibers calibrated to 1.2 microns + electro-adsorption (technology developed by NASA).
Electro-adsorption: Magnetizes negatively charged particles even smaller than 1 micron (viruses down to 0.01 micron), offering ultra-fine filtration on a broad spectrum of contaminants.
Performance
What's filtered: Bacteria, viruses, pesticides, herbicides, E. coli, micro-organisms, parasites, protozoa, giardia lamblia, cryptosporidium, chlorine, heavy metals, PFAS, disruptors and some particles even below 1 micron (thanks to electro-adsorption).
What passes through: Particles not captured by electro-adsorption (mainly mineral salts)
Key benefit
Balanced filtration for non-potable environments.
Recommended for
Daily use on tap.
Filtration of non-drinking water from dubious sources.
Travel, hiking and trekking
