Alexis PESCHARD

An exemplary adventurer

Tested and approved with water from the Loire River!

Alexis Peschard, an adventurer at heart, is no stranger to a bit of a crazy challenge. During his canoe-kayak journey across the Loire River— more than 1,000 km —he tested the effectiveness of his ÖKO filter bottle every day by drawing water directly from the river. A simple act, but one that would be impossible without a truly high-performance filtration system.

Since then, the ÖKO water bottle has been his constant companion. It went with him on his journey from Marseille to the summit of Mont Blanc—on skis and on foot—and then on an incredible trip from Paris to London, which he completed in eight days on his grandfather’s vintage bike, without a phone or GPS.

No matter where he goes, Alexis can count on instantly filtered water and equipment that is reliable, convenient, and eco-friendly.

Through his adventures, he shares the people he’s met, the challenges he’s faced, and the highlights of his journeys—always with the same philosophy: to show that you can have real adventures with very little, as long as you have determination… and a good dose of daring!

Check out all of his expeditions and inspiring stories on his account.

Céleste and Charlotte Grant

Illegal Bunker

By Horse-Drawn Carriage to Rome: Céleste Grant Chooses ÖKO!

After an incredible 112-day journey, covering 1,867 km in a carriage pulled by two donkeys, Céleste Grant and her partner Charlotte arrived in Rome. Setting out on June 27, 2023, from the medieval town of Conques in France, they traveled through countryside, mountains, and picturesque villages, dressed entirely in period clothing and eschewing all modern conveniences except for their phones, which they used for navigation and to share their adventure.

And that was just their first adventure; since then, they’ve gone on to complete a vintage-style tandem bike ride across France in 1950s style (from Royan to Sète), followed by a trip across Corsica and along the GR20 trail.

Always seeking independence and simplicity, he naturally turned to the ÖKO filter bottle. Thanks to it, he can easily fill up his bottle from natural sources, enjoying instantly filtered water without relying on plastic bottles or drinking fountains.
