1/ The ÖKO EUROPE Offer
1-1 Geographic Coverage of the ServiceThe products sold online and featured on the website www.okoeurope.com are shipped to most countries.
The geographic coverage area for each sale may vary depending on the distribution agreements of each listed supplier as well as the delivery methods. ÖKO EUROPE may use “country filters” on the website to block orders from countries not covered by the offer.
The products offered on the website www.okoeurope.com include estimated availability and shipping times. This information is updated regularly.
A product listed as " in stock " is currently in ÖKO EUROPE's own inventory. Actual product availability may change rapidly depending on sales made on the website or product inventory at our suppliers.
If a product is labeled "available within x days," this means that ÖKO EUROPE will receive the product from its supplier within that number of business days, subject to availability from its suppliers. In rare cases, errors or changes may occur.
ÖKO EUROPE shall not be held liable if the estimated time for the availability of the product(s) and their shipment is consequently changed. In the event that a product becomes unavailable after an order has been placed, ÖKO EUROPE undertakes to contact the Buyer as soon as possible, by phone or email. The Buyer may choose to maintain their order or cancel it.
ÖKO EUROPE will issue a refund by crediting the bank account no later than fourteen (14) days after the Buyer’s payment.
The products offered for sale are described and presented as accurately as possible. However, ÖKO EUROPE shall not be held liable for any errors or omissions in this presentation.
The photographs are for illustrative purposes only.
Product prices are listed in euros, including all French taxes, and are final and non-negotiable.
They do not include shipping costs and other processing fees associated with the Buyer’s order, which are billed separately and indicated before the Buyer’s order is confirmed.
ÖKO EUROPE reserves the right to change its prices at any time without notice. Products will be billed to the Buyer based on the prices in effect at the time the order is confirmed.
ÖKO EUROPE regularly performs maintenance on its website. This may result in pricing errors. In such cases, the order cannot be fulfilled, and ÖKO EUROPE will contact the customer to cancel the order as soon as possible.
The products remain the property of ÖKO EUROPE until they have been paid for in full.

Clicking the confirmation button after completing the order form constitutes the Buyer’s confirmation of the order and serves as an electronic signature with the same legal validity as a handwritten signature. It shall constitute irrevocable acceptance of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
The contract will not be considered concluded until ÖKO EUROPE sends an email confirming receipt of the order.
ÖKO EUROPE reserves the right to refuse delivery or to fulfill an order if the Buyer has not paid for a previous order in full or in part, or if a payment dispute remains unresolved.
Any order placed Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) is prepared and shipped within 24 to 72 hours, provided all items are listed as in stock and subject to payment confirmation. Orders placed over the weekend are processed no later than the third business day following the order date.
Delivery times are calculated from the moment the packages are picked up by the carrier.
3/ PAYMENT
ÖKO EUROPE (www.okoeurope.com) offers various payment options.
All orders, regardless of the country of origin, must be paid for in euros only.
Full payment is due at the time of order by the Buyer, who agrees to pay the price specified for the item(s) ordered, including the cost of the items, as well as shipping and other order processing fees.
As part of our efforts to combat online fraud, ÖKO EUROPE reserves the right to request a photocopy of your ID and proof of address for any payment.
We accept payment only via one of the following credit cards: CB, Visa, and Mastercard.
The card will be charged when the order is confirmed.
The Buyer warrants to ÖKO EUROPE that he or she has all necessary authorizations to use the card payment method when placing an order.
ÖKO EUROPE takes all necessary measures to ensure the security and confidentiality of data transmitted via the www.okoeurope.com website (including online payments). 4/ DELIVERY
Products are delivered to the shipping address provided during the ordering process to the destinations specified in Article 3 above.
In the event of an error in the delivery address, ÖKO EUROPE shall not be held liable for any failure to deliver. In such cases, the costs incurred for a new delivery shall be borne by the Buyer and billed at actual cost.
ÖKO EUROPE is committed to delivering the ordered items as quickly as possible, depending on the selected shipping method and the availability of the items. The delivery times listed on the website www.okoeurope.com are typical average times and correspond to the order processing time.
If the Buyer orders multiple products at the same time and the shipping times vary, the actual shipping time may be the longest of these, as the entire order is prepared only once all the products included in it are in stock at ÖKO EUROPE.
Delivery is deemed to have been completed upon handover of the product to the Buyer.
If a package is damaged, it must be refused by declining to sign the delivery receipt and returning the package to the delivery person.
The Buyer must file a claim with ÖKO EUROPE by email at info@okoeurope.com—not with the carrier—within five (5) days of the date the damaged package was delivered. *
If there is a delay in delivery or if packages are lost, the Buyer must notify ÖKO EUROPE by email or phone within ten (10) days of receiving the order confirmation via email. *
* Please note that since the time required for the carrier to investigate the matter is beyond ÖKO EUROPE’s control, ÖKO EUROPE can only commit to promptly filing a claim with the carrier and closely monitoring the case to ensure that the Buyer receives their order within a reasonable timeframe.
If the recipient is not present at the time of delivery, the delivery person will leave a delivery notice at the delivery address provided by the Buyer. The order must be picked up at the address and in accordance with the instructions provided by the delivery person.
If the order is not picked up within the time frame specified by the delivery person, it will be returned to ÖKO EUROPE, which reserves the right to refund the purchase price; however, the Buyer will be responsible for the shipping costs.
When orders are shipped to destinations outside the European Union or the French overseas departments and territories, they may be subject to customs duties, local taxes, or other charges imposed by the authorities of the destination country. These fees and taxes are calculated and collected directly by those authorities and are beyond the scope of ÖKO EUROPE’s control or responsibility.
It should be noted that this situation is not unique to ÖKO EUROPE, but generally applies to all imported goods. Customs inspections are conducted on a random basis, which means that not all packages are automatically subject to these fees.
For our part, we consistently strive to provide clear information in advance about the exact nature of our products when filing export declarations. This transparency goes a long way toward minimizing the risk of additional inspections or unexpected costs for our customers.
Customers are therefore strongly encouraged to check with the relevant authorities in their country before placing an order.
5. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
The right of withdrawal is considered to have been properly exercised if the following conditions are fully met:
- Deadline
The Buyer has fourteen (14) calendar days from the delivery of their order to notify the Seller of their intention to cancel the purchase without having to provide a reason or pay any penalties, except for the cost of return shipping.
After contacting customer service, the Buyer has fourteen (14) calendar days to return the merchandise in its original condition.
The period begins on the date the product is received. It is calculated in calendar days.
- Product condition
The product must be returned in new condition, properly "protected" in its undamaged original packaging, along with any accessories and the instruction manual.
No returns will be accepted if the returned products have been visibly used or damaged by the Buyer and such use or damage renders the products unsuitable for resale.
After contacting customer service, the Buyer has fourteen (14) calendar days to return the merchandise to ÖKO EUROPE in its original condition and at their own expense.
The return is the sole responsibility of the Buyer, and the Buyer shall bear all risks associated with the return of the merchandise (damage, theft, breakage). ÖKO EUROPE shall not be held liable for any shipping costs the Buyer incurs when returning and reshipping the package.
Returns shipped freight collect will not be accepted.
Upon receipt of the returned package, ÖKO EUROPE will verify that the return meets the requirements. No return will be accepted if the returned products show visible signs of use or damage caused by the customer, and if such use or damage renders the products unsuitable for resale. If the return cannot be accepted, ÖKO EUROPE will contact the Buyer to arrange for the products to be returned at the Buyer’s expense.
Subject to acceptance, ÖKO EUROPE will refund the Buyer as soon as possible and no later than fourteen (14) days after the date on which the returned products are received at its warehouse. The refund will be issued to the billing address provided by the Buyer when placing the order and via the payment method used to pay for the order.
Please note that, in accordance with Article L.121-21-4 of Law No. 2014-344, ÖKO EUROPE is not required to reimburse any additional costs associated with express delivery. ÖKO EUROPE does not reimburse any shipping costs incurred by the Buyer.
Please note: In order to exercise their right of withdrawal, ÖKO EUROPE asks the Buyer to also return any items received as part of a promotional offer.
6/ AFTER-SALES SERVICE / STATUTORY WARRANTIES
The Buyer is entitled to a free 30-day warranty provided by ÖKO EUROPE.
ÖKO EUROPE shall not be held liable for any misuse and/or excessive use of the items by the customer.
The procedure for potential after-sales service coverage:
- Please send a photo—even if the defect is not immediately apparent—along with a detailed description of the problem via email to info@okoeurope.com, specifying your order number.
- Upon receipt of this information, ÖKO EUROPE will determine whether or not to accept the product(s) for after-sales service.
- ÖKO EUROPE will email you a printable return form for returning the product.
- The buyer must return the product in clean condition, along with the order number. ÖKO EUROPE will cover the return shipping costs.
- Upon receipt of the returned item(s), ÖKO EUROPE will exchange the product(s) and send a replacement at its own expense.
The consumer has two years from the date of delivery of the goods to invoke the statutory warranty of conformity if a lack of conformity arises. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity, not the date on which it arose.
Where the contract for the sale of goods provides for the continuous supply of digital content or a digital service for a period exceeding two years, the statutory warranty applies to such digital content or digital service throughout the entire period of supply. During this period, the consumer is only required to establish the existence of the lack of conformity affecting the digital content or digital service, and not the date on which it first appeared.
The statutory warranty of conformity requires the seller, where applicable, to provide any updates necessary to ensure that the item remains in conformity.
The legal warranty of conformity entitles the consumer to have the item repaired or replaced within thirty days of making the request, at no cost and without significant inconvenience to the consumer.
If the product is repaired under the legal warranty of conformity, the consumer is entitled to a six-month extension of the original warranty.
If the consumer requests that the item be repaired, but the seller insists on replacing it, the statutory warranty of conformity is extended for a period of two years from the date the item is replaced.
The consumer may obtain a reduction in the purchase price while retaining the item, or terminate the contract and receive a full refund upon returning the item, if:
(1) The merchant refuses to repair or replace the item;
(2) The repair or replacement of the item takes place after a period of thirty days;
(3) Repairing or replacing the item causes significant inconvenience to the consumer, particularly when the consumer is permanently responsible for the costs of returning or picking up the nonconforming item, or if the consumer is responsible for the costs of installing the repaired or replacement item;
(4) The property remains non-conforming despite the seller’s unsuccessful attempt to bring it into compliance.
The consumer is also entitled to a price reduction or to rescind the contract when the lack of conformity is so serious that it justifies an immediate price reduction or rescission of the contract. In such cases, the consumer is not required to first request repair or replacement of the goods.
The consumer is not entitled to cancel the sale if the lack of conformity is minor.
Any period during which the item is out of service for repair or replacement shall suspend the remaining warranty period until the repaired item is delivered.
The rights mentioned above are based on Articles L. 217-1 through L. 217-32 of the Consumer Code.
A seller who, in bad faith, obstructs the enforcement of the legal guarantee of conformity is liable to a civil fine of up to 300,000 euros, which may be increased to 10% of the seller’s average annual turnover (Article L. 241-5 of the Consumer Code).
The consumer is also covered by the statutory warranty against hidden defects, pursuant to Articles 1641 through 1649 of the Civil Code, for a period of two years from the date the defect is discovered. This warranty entitles the consumer to a price reduction if the item is retained, or to a full refund upon return of the item.
All products offered by ÖKO EUROPE are subject to the statutory warranties of conformity (Articles L.217-3 to L.217-14 of the French Consumer Code) and against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code). To invoke one of these warranties, the Buyer must contact ÖKO EUROPE by email at info@okoeurope.com, by phone at +33 (0)3 80 63 51 73, or by certified mail with return receipt requested at the following address: ÖKO EUROPE, ZONE ARTISANALE POUILLY BAS, 9 RUE DE L ARTISANAT, 21560 COUTERNON – France.
The contractual warranties do not cover:
- Improper or unauthorized use of the products. ÖKO EUROPE therefore urges the Buyer to carefully review the instructions for use provided with the products,
- Defects and their consequences resulting from use of the product for purposes other than those for which it is intended,
- Defects and their consequences resulting from any external cause,
- Damage caused to the filter media by uses prohibited by the manufacturer, such as filtering sodas, colas, hot beverages, and anything other than water,
- Damage caused by a fall or mishandling on the part of the customer.
