Frequently Asked Questions

Do you need to have a large number of followers?

No. What matters most is your credibility, your commitment and the quality of your content.
Some partners engage 0.06% of their audience, while others reach up to 15%. It all depends on the connection you have with your community, your authenticity, and how consistently you post…
And let’s not forget the creators of videos or articles that rank consistently on Google or YouTube: these formats often generate sales over the long term.

Can I get a free water bottle?

No. In most cases, the partners purchased and tested the water bottle themselves. They're big fans, and it's that authenticity that makes all the difference.
Since early 2025, we have strengthened this policy: we no longer approve requests for product donations in exchange for a simple social media post.
Our product needs to be embedded in the long term, in content that is part of everyday life.

There may be exceptions, but only if the project is well-founded, coherent, and directly aligned with our values. Please contact Yohan if you would like to request an exception.

How long does it take to be approved?

Validation is done manually by Jan or Yohan, usually within 2 to 7 days.

Do I need to report my earnings?

Yes. A SIRET number is required to join the program. Your commission income must be reported as business income.

Can I use ÖKO Europe’s content?

Yes, you can use any content that is publicly available on:
  • our website
  • our Instagram account
  • our YouTube channel (featuring professional videos you can share or use as inspiration)

Is it possible to make eco-friendly clothing?

Yes, we sometimes order ÖKO Europe T-shirts, polo shirts, and sweatshirts.

Contact Yohan to find out if you are eligible as an active partner.

Can I do an Instagram collaboration?

Yes, we are open to collaborations.

We evaluate the quality of the content, its originality (no reposts), and how well it aligns with our values.

Can I mention ÖKO in my content?

Yes, and we’d be happy to repost your Reels, Stories, or posts if they align with the ÖKO spirit.

What are the commission records?

Since the beginning 2023 for a single person:
  • The monthly record: €16,000 in commissions
  • The quarterly record: €33,100
  • The annual record: €75,600
  • The two-year record: €118,000

Every situation is different, but these figures show that an active and strategic partnership can be highly profitable.

Do I appear in your ads?

If you're interested in having your content used in our ads or on our website, please let us know.

We will contact you to obtain your prior consent.

Can I be removed from the program?

We regularly follow:

  • the quality of your content
  • the volume of sales generated
  • and the overall consistency of your brand image with that of ÖKO

🔄 In the event of prolonged inactivity or failure to comply with our terms, you may be transferred to the referral program (any outstanding invoices will, of course, be settled).

Common Objections

Why is the water bottle made of plastic?

OKO PP5 Plastic Filter Bottle
ÖKO water bottles are made from a special type of polypropylene (PP5), a food-grade material identical to that used in food storage containers, which offers ideal properties:
  • Guaranteed to be free of BPA, phthalates, microplastics, and other toxic substances.
  • Compressible and lightweight: thanks to this flexible material, you can easily squeeze it to push water through the filter.
  • Durable and long-lasting: designed to last for years, withstanding both high temperatures and daily use.
  • Tasteless and odorless: it preserves the natural, pure taste of your water.
  • At the end of its life, your water bottle can be 100% recycled.
Why not glass or stainless steel?
Glass breaks, and stainless steel is heavy—it's that simple!
To date, no other material offers the flexibility, lightness, and practicality of polypropylene for a high-quality filter bottle.
Only the filter needs to be replaced regularly, thereby reducing your environmental impact.

NASA, really?

Technology derived from a NASA spin-off
The " " filter used in the ÖKO water bottle was created and developed by NASA in 2002 to filter wastewater on the International Space Station.

Spin-offs are technology transfer products originally developed for the ISS that are adopted by companies to benefit the general public on Earth.

With over 20 years of experience, it’s interesting to compare this to other filtration technologies that are popping up everywhere these days.

For more information, visit NASA’s official spinoffs website, where ÖKO is featured:

How should I answer the lab tests?

All of our tests are public and available on the Laboratory Tests page.

Tap water or bottled water is ideal

Tap water not safe to drink: Are there more and more warnings?

It is the most closely monitored food product in France. Tap water is tested 28 million times each year, as regulations have become stricter. These tests are revealing increasing levels of pollution, with the latest example occurring in Port-Louis in the Morbihan department. The cause is damage to the water filtration system. In the meantime, the town hall is distributing packs of bottled water. This is not an isolated case; hundreds of municipalities are deprived of drinking water every year. TF1 | Report by E. At €30 for a filter that covers 387 liters, that’s less than 8 cents per liter.
The gourd body lasts him for years.
The cost of plastic bottles for one person is at least €300 per year.
