The ÖKO Fresh insulated water bottle features a self-sealing screw cap, which is sturdier than the one on our original water bottles.
This water bottle body is stiffer because it’s designed with this concept in mind:
. It ensures a watertight seal when you squeeze the flexible body of the bottle without putting pressure on the seam.
That is precisely why our unique water bottles do not have this “flaw ”:
thanks to their more flexible body, they are not subject to this specific technical limitation.
This choice of a stiffer thread ensures:

ÖKO's ultra-filtering bottle combines a unique alumina nanofiber technology, derived from the mineral pseudoboehmite, with mechanical filtration with medium-sized 1.25 micron pores.

Maintenance
The bottle, the pipette, and the cap (without the filter) can be easily washed at room temperature with soap and/or water.
NEVER clean the filter or allow it to come into contact with any substance other than water (if you need to filter muddy water: rinse the outside of the filter with water)
Usage
Cold or lukewarm water (up to 37 degrees). Do not use hot or boiling water. Do not freeze the filter if it is wet, as expansion could damage the membrane and thus compromise filtration quality.
